Life is filled with many painful experiences: Root canals, filing taxes, childbirth, small talk… But of all the agonizing things adults must suffer through, moving has to be one of the absolute worst.
Before the actual process of moving out can begin, you first have to sell your house — but for some homeowners, that is easier said than done. Sometimes, to make a sale, you have to go to extreme lengths, like selling your beautiful home for next to nothing.
This is the dilemma Gillian and David Walsh are currently facing. Their home is large, well-maintained, and in a lovely neighborhood — but it simply won’t sell.
It might seem odd at first, but once you step inside, you might understand why the home isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Personally, I think the home is festive and fun, but I can see why others might be turned away…
What do you think of the Walsh’s home? Would you be interested in buying it?

From the outside, this suburban home in Crosby, England, looks totally normal. But, despite 13 months on the market and a $75,000 price cut, this lovely six-bedroom house just won't sell.
Its undesirability is puzzling at first — but the second the "Oh My Darling Clementine" doorbell sounds, visitors quickly realize this is no ordinary house.
Once inside, you might think you've stumbled into an antique store rather than a private residence, but 56-year-old Gillian Walsh and her husband have happily dwelled here for nearly 30 years.
Within these well-dressed walls, Gillian has raised a total of eight children. But now, the home is simply too large for Mr. and Mrs. Walsh, and thus they're looking to relocate.
When their real estate agent uploaded photos of the house to its online listing, people around the world began to mock Gillian's colorful decor, and no interested buyers came forth.
After looking through the photos, one person remarked, "OMG! how vile, I feel sick. it's just too much, it will NEVER sell with all that clutter! LOL"
But some people are kinder. "What a fabulous collection! This is a home that is loved by it owners and lovingly looked after. I expect that many of the items are gifts from the family. Good luck with the sale."
No matter the remarks, Gillian and her husband are puzzled by the attention their decorative home is receiving.
"They love their home," the Walsh's neighbor told Daily Mail. "They don’t see what all the fuss is about. It’s the house they’re selling, not the ornaments."
And though the right buyer has yet to come along, Gillian and her husband still hope to sell their colorful home.
Hopefully, when it does finally sell, this festive house will be just as loved by its new owners — but they certainly have big shoes to fill!
But Gillian and David Walsh aren't the only ones struggling to sell their home. This Victorian mansion is being sold for dirt cheap — but the reason is a bit spookier...
